Congratulations Class of 2018!

Convocation at Huron is a celebration of your academic accomplishments.  It involves a number of events, culminating in receiving your degree from Western University.

  • Arts & Social Science Graduands


    Information, Guest Tickets & Regalia for Arts and Social Science Graduands for Fall Convocation 2018:

    • Each graduate will be eligible to receive up to 4 guest tickets, space permitting.

    • Guest tickets for Autumn Convocation 2018 will be available starting October 10. Students may request extra tickets starting October 12
    • An RSVP is mandatory to attend the Huron celebration on Huron's campus in the Great Hall at 12:30 p.m. This celebration is a separate event from Western's Convocation ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Once invitations are issued, please RSVP to Anne Turvey (by email at aturvey3@uwo.ca) by the stated deadline on the invitation and include the number of guests you will be bringing with you for lunch!


  • Theology Graduands

    • Your May Convocation does not include any events at Western.  
    • No tickets are required to attend the Huron event, however, an RSVP is mandatory, with the number of your guests (maximum of 10) planning to attend. Once invitations are issued, RSVP to aturvey3@huron.uwo.ca by the stated deadline.
    • M.Div and MTS graduands need to order their regalia (gowns and hoods).  Please email aturvey3@huron.uwo.ca with your gown length (your height, in the shoes you will wear to the ceremony).  Also, indicate whether you would like to purchase your hood (the estimated cost is $110).
  • Regalia: Gowns/Robes & Hoods

  • Before the Huron and Western ceremonies, you will pick up your academic regalia, which is comprised of a black robe/gown and a hood at a the Book Store at Western University. It is strongly recommended that you pre-order your regalia.  Please note Western's deadline for online orders.

  • International Students

  • International students who would like their parents or other close relatives to attend need to complete the following form:

    The completed form should be submitted, in person, by fax, or by email, to Anne Turvey (room A110).  Please ensure it is legible.  A letter for each guest will be issued from the Principal, which will be required for the travel VISA application process for that guest.  The letter will be issued to the student and it will be their responsibility to ensure this letter reaches their guest, on time, to assist with their travel VISA.

  • Class Ring

  • We are proud to offer you the official ring of Huron University College!

    This ring will be a constant reminder of your achievements and the tradition of our alma mater. It is a symbol of all the hard work and the community that you are proud to be a part of as well as the institution that played a key role in helping you shape your future.

    The Huron ring is a distinct symbol commemorating the unique and lifelong affiliation each graduate has with the University. Wear it with pride! You are a true "Leader with Heart".

    The ring features a prominent block H in red and can be personalized with an inscription on the inner band and sides with your degree and year.
