Students can either use the wireless service or connect to RezNet with an internet cable. There will be a limited supply of cables for sale in the Computer Lab if you forget to bring one.
Signing Up: The RezNet fee is included in your residence fee. On Labour Day you can come to the Computer Lab to get help setting up your RezNet. After Labour Day, assistance is available during regular office hours or by contacting the RezNet Hotline at 519-661-4225.
Opting Out: You cannot opt out of RezNet as it is included in your residence fee.
You must install anti-virus software prior to connecting your computer to the internet in your residence room. Computers infected with a virus will be disconnected from the RezNet network without notice. Anti-virus software can be purchased from the Campus Computer Store or Western's Bookstore.
