Mark Blagrave

Mark Blagrave came to Huron as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science in July 2009, following a twenty-year career at Mount Allison University and seven years at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John. He has been a Department Head and Program Director of English and Drama Programs, and Chair of the New Brunswick Arts Board. He is also an active playwright and novelist. He is a member of the Writer’s Union of Canada, the Playwrights’ Guild of Canada, and the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre. Research interests include dramatic literature, theatre, narrative theory, and film.
