Huron Homecoming 2011

Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Homecoming festivities from September 30 to October 2. More than 85 alumni, friends and students participated this year with representation over six decades from the 1960's to the 2010's.

From Friday night's Brough Hall Reception to Saturday's lunch in the Great Hall with guest speaker Dr. Stephen McClatchie, Huron's new Principal...to the football game...to the evensong service in honour of Miss Catharine Ridley (Huron's Registrar from 1961 to 1991 who passed away in January 2011)...to the class reunion dinner held in The Huron Room...to the chapel service and brunch on Sunday, there was lots of laughter, hugs, reconnections, and reminiscing of countless stories and memories about special times and special people.

Thanks to everyone who came, in some cases from long distances including Arizona, Texas, Chicago, Alberta, and from those who travelled from many places in Ontario.
