Huron University College offers a limited number of places in Western's Media, Information and Technoculture Program. Students in the MIT program at Huron must combine MIT with another Huron module of study.
In the MIT program students:
- explore the nature and impact of communications technologies in today's world;
- develop media and information literacy;
- become informed and critical analysts of the media and image-saturated social environment;
- examine the convergence of communication technologies; and
- discover how media content is derived, filtered, edited, produced and owned.
