Winter Term 2010 for B.Th., MTS, and M.Div.

Web registration:

See deadlines for adding a dropping a second-term course below.

You can add or drop your courses on-line on January 4 through 8, 2010. Register through the Student Centre.

Before January 4 and after January 8th, any changes must be made with a paper add/drop form available in the Faculty of Theology office or, for Bachelor's students, in the Huron academic services centre--keeping in mind the add/drop deadlines.

Paper Add/Drops
If you want to register or make changes to your courses when web registration is not running, you can pick up an add/drop form from the Theology office. Complete the form, get the professor to sign you in/out of the course, and return it to the Faculty of Theology Office by the appropriate deadline.

Last Day to Add a Second-Term Course
January 12, 2010

Last Day to Drop a Second-Term Course
February 12, 2010
(without academic penalty--dropping after this time will result in the course being marked as "Fail.")

Need Help Choosing Your Courses?

Contact the Faculty of Theology office, 438-7224, ext. 289 or srice@uwo.ca. Or Bachelor's students should contact their academic counsellor.

Student Centre

This site at the UWO Registrar's Office allows you to change your courses, look at your timetable, check your marks, change your address, etc.

Full-time vs. Part-time

Most Master's-level courses are half-courses (0.5 credit). Once you are registered for 7 half-courses (3.5 weight) throughout the school year, you are considered a full-time student and will be billed for full-time tuition. Keep this in mind while adding and dropping courses. The normal full-time load is 10 half-courses per year--5 half-courses each term. 6 or fewer half-courses per year make you a part-time student.

Course Title/Number Changes

Religious Education 5224b, Andrew Irving will not be offered. In it's place, Church History 5233b will be offered. It's content will be updated here shortly.

Liturgics 5221b, Daily Office, William Lupton will not be offered.

Hebrew 5041b Use: "Hebrew 1041b" instead.

Second-Year Field Education

Please note that the second-term placement equals 1.5 full courses. You must sign up for Field Education 214x (1.0 course) and 216b (0.5 course).

Financial Implications of Adding/Dropping Courses

The above deadlines for adding/dropping concern academic penalties. The refund of tuition is pro-rated weekly. Please see the Accounting Office regarding the schedule for refunding tuition.
