Where Do I Go for Advice?
If you have questions about the progression of your degree, feel free to contact the following for advice:
- Bachelor's-level Academic Counsellor in Student Services (for B.Th. students)
- Your Faculty of Theology Academic Advisor (for M.Div./MTS students; list in Orientation Booklet, posted on bulletin board, or ask at Theology office)
- Faculty of Theology Office (room A225, srice@uwo.ca, or ext. 289)

- Official Academic Calendar for Faculty of Theology (outlines the degrees, courses, academic rules and regulations)
- Degree Maps (print a map of your own degree, fill in the courses you have completed, see what is still to be completed.)
- Calendar of Events (deadlines, etc.)
- Student Centre (choose "academic summary" for your academic record)
- Course registration (info for current registration period)
Petitions and Appeals
Ultimately, you're responsible for completing your degree as outlined in the calendar in which you entered.
Petition
is a request that regulations be waived on compassionate grounds or because of extenuating circumstances. Deadlines apply for some petitions. (see Academic Calendar for deadlines and process)
Appeal
is a request that a grade on a particular piece of work, or a final standing in a course or program be changed on grounds relating to the accuracy or fairness of the mark assigned--grounds or evidence to be provided by the individual appealing. Must be filed within 6 weeks of the date of issuance of the report of the evaluation, term assignment, or grade. (see Academic Calendar for deadlines and process)
