Huron’s Centre for Public Theology is hosting the symposium: Understanding the 'Green Dragon': Exploring the theological, cultural and political assumptions for faith groups (and others) in dealing with climate change.
A round-table of papers will be delivered by leading scholars from theological, mathematics to economic disciplines trying to understand what hidden assumptions polarize discussion on climate change. Scholars include: Christopher Essex (Western), Ross McKitrick (Guelph), Calvin Beisner (Cornwall Alliance), Gary Badcock (Huron) and Darren Marks (Huron) who will be giving papers and responses.
Audience members are invited to attend, participate in question periods and contribute to the discussion.
