Interview with Lawrence Hill

On Monday, June 18th, Lawrence Hill was awarded Huron's Medal of Distinction and addressed the Huron graduands as part of the day's Convocation events.
Lawrence Hill is an award-winning Canadian author, whose third book, The Book of Negroes, won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for best book in 2008. Hill's most recent non-fiction book The Deserter's Tale: the Story of an Ordinary Soldier Who Walked Away from the War in Iraq (written with Joshua Key) was released in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and several European countries.
