Huron students are fully involved in the community both locally and in their home towns. Whether it is the annual Terry Fox Run, Shinerama, or the Big Sisters Snow Volley Ball Tournament you will find Huron students helping out. If you are one of those involved Huron students, we want to celebrate your achievements.
The Office of Housing and Student Life can help you track and record your volunteer and community service hours. You can keep track of your volunteer hours by completing a Volunteer Service Report Tracking Form. Students who have contributed and reported volunteer service hours by the end of their graduating year, will be recognized at the graduation awards ceremony in June.
After you have participated in a volunteer activity, whether on your own, through a student organization or as part of your course curriculum, stop by the Office of Housing and Student Life and fill out a Volunteer Service Report Tracking Form or download the form from this page. The Volunteer Service Report form will help us recognize your contributions to the community. Completed forms can be dropped off to Sharon Robertson McKillop, Director of Housing and Student Life by May 1 each year.
